KARACHI: According to the latest reports the highly-awaited successor to the Xbox 360 has yet to be named. However, it has been reported that the Xbox 720 may be christened the Xbox “Fusion” as Microsoft has reportedly been buying up domains including XboxFusion.co.uk, XboxFusion.de and XboxFusion.info.
After the announcement of the new Sony PS4 console earlier this year it is evident that Microsoft is eager to make a strong first impression with the Xbox Fusion showcasing the initial fruits of their accomplishments.
It is rumored that the Xbox 720 could be released as early as Christmas 2013. Microsoft is due to hold another event at the Galen Center in Los Angeles next month where they will reportedly reveal more details about the product.
Though it may be too soon to confirm “Fusion” as the new moniker for the Xbox 720, Microsoft will reportedly reveal its some of the blockbuster games this year.
