french-stock-exchange PARIS: French stocks lost more three percent in early trading on Friday, with banking and cyclical stocks hit hard, as investors fret about the prospects for global growth.

Paris's CAC 40 index showed a loss of 3.43 percent to 2,974.54 points at 0741 GMT.
