ISLAMABAD: Foreign Affairs expert of Islamabad Institue of Regional Studies, Shaheen Akhtar said that the gap, lying in the intelligence sharing between Pakistan and United States should be filled up by the confidence factor.
Talking to VOA on Friday, Shaheen Akhtar said the main issue of both the countries is trust deficit so it should be removed at earliest by sharing intelligence.
Shaheen added that both the countries should also set up modalities in this regard keeping in view the integrity and dignity of Pakistan adding "It should also keep in mind that these modalities should not undermine the institutions".
