Annual alumni lunch of Cadet College Hasanabdal held

Annual Alumni Lunch of Cadet College Hasanabdal was held on November 30, 2013. It was attended by about 600 to 700 old boys including Raja Nadir Parvez, Riaz-ul-Hassan, Surgeon General Azhar Rashid, General Afzal Janjua (Retd), Nasir Durrani IG KPK and several other high ranking Civil and Military Officials.

Wreath laying ceremonies were held at Shuhada Monument and at the grave of the Founding Principal Hugh Catchpole. Major General Najeeb Tariq, Principal Cadet College Hasanabdal, Professor Syed Dilshad Hussain Ex-Principal and the most senior Old Abdalian Colonel Shuja Ahmed Mirza from 1st entry laid the wreaths at both places.

Later on, the old sons of CCH visited their wings to cherish the golden memories associated with their alma mater. They were delighted to see the renovation of the wings and Naeem Hall. Afterwards, a formal session was held in the newly-renovated Naeem Hall in which Vice Principal Abdul Qudus Saggu and Principal Major General Najeeb Tariq gave presentations on the recent construction works and fixtures. This session was followed by a question-answer session. Moreover, an informal session, consisting of some senior Old Abdalians' speeches, was also held which was followed by a break for Zuhar Prayers.

The old Abdalians had their lunch in the extended College dining halls and were extremely happy to see the new shape of the entire infrastructure which took place in such a short span of time.-PR
