CLF ends by crossing 30,000 milestone figure
Children's Literature Festival concluded Saturday after crossing the milestone figure of 30,000 participants and setting new records here at Federal College of Education featuring a galaxy of renowned and acclaimed literary celebrities, large number of writers, authors, poets and creative artists.

Two-day festival was organised by Idara-e-Taleem-0-Aagahi along with Oxford University Press in collaboration with Open Society Foundations, European Union, HBL, Oxfam GB, Dubai Cares, Alif Ailaan, Federal College of Education H-9, Federal Directorate of Education, Capital Administration and Development Division.
Children Literature Festival, this year presented a unique galaxy of talent and craftsmanship by rendering the big names of literature, acting, creative artists including Haseena Moin, Farooq Qaiser, Hamida Khuhro, Bakhtawar Shah from Kalaash, Chintan Girish Modi, Fauzia Minallah, Sehar Tariq, Rumana Husain, Nasim Zehra, Ayub Baloch, Musharraf Zaidi, Khaled Anum, Nasreen Iqbal,Samar Minallah, Ameena Saiyid, Bushra Shahab, Tahira Abdullah, Sheherzade Alam, Khursheed Hyder, Faisal Bari, Baela Raza Jamil, Asad Umar, Asad Mian and many more. The legendry celebrities marked their presence by portraying and sharing their skills and artistry in different interactive and packed sessions.
"This is my third visit to Pakistan and I am delighted to be here. I am grateful to the Children's Literature Festival for inviting me to Islamabad and creating this opportunity to interact with children and teachers around themes like storytelling, friendship and peace building," said Chintan Girish Modi Educator, Writer, Researcher and Founder Friendship across borders: Aao Dosti Karein; from Mumbai, India.
Last day of the 14th Children Festival was opened by renowned creative writer Farooq Qaiser (Uncle Sargam) by presenting his famous Puppet Show. Indian creative writer Chintan Girish Modi held a special session in which he shared his personal experiences with the children by urging them to contribute in peace and love.
