ISLAMABAD: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Marvi Memon on Wednesday said the allegations of Ayesha Gulalai against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan were correct.
Ayesha Gulalai was a daughter of the soil that was why PTI should avoid for her character assisnation, she said speaking in a private news channel programme.
She said Ayesha Gulalai was courageous woman and her harassment allegations against Imran Khan were based on reality.
Marvi Memon said Gulalai appealed to the Supreme Court to take notice of her complains and expressed hope that Ayesha would present proof before the court.
PTI leadership were also levelling counter allegations against Ayesha Gulalai and doing her character assisnation which were immoral, she added.
She rejected wrong perception that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was behind Ayesha's allegations.
Leader of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Qamar Zaman Kaira said investigation should be carried out on Ayesha Gulalai's allegations and advised PTI to take serious her allegations.
