BUCHAREST: Romania sold a more than planned 479.6 million lei ($120.64 million) worth of Feb. 2025 treasury bonds on Monday, with the average accepted yield at 3.46 percent, central bank data showed.

Debt managers, who had planned to sell 400 million lei of the paper, last issued the bond in July of last year at 3.22 percent.

 

So far this year, Romania has sold roughly 27.1 billion lei and 340 million euros of domestic bills and bonds. It has tapped foreign markets for 1.75 billion euros of 2027 and 2035 Eurobonds.
