RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 44527.45 with a negative change of 387.00 and volume of 119,780,150 shares.

High and Low were 45265.48 and 43826.67 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 220,492,320 shares with 335 total traded companies out of which 62 were up, 266 were down and 7 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 56,178,200 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION  with a total traded volume of 24,586,000 shares.

The two top traded companies were Askari Bank with a volume of 14,805,000 and price per share of 18.80 (0.24), Engro Polymer with a volume 6,976,500 of price per share of 37.20 (0.19) and Sui North Gas with a volume 5,681,500 of price per share of 142.01 (1.60).

The top three advancers were Otsuka Pak with price per share 257.59 (12.26), Highnoon (Lab) with price per share of 609.00 (10.68) and Tandlianwala Sugar share of 214.20 (10.20).

The top three decliners were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 1758.00 (89.75), Indus Motor Co with price per share of 1683.30 (88.59) and Hinopak MotorXD per share of 1290.00 (63.75).
