Bollywood forgets cricket after Pakistan win ICC Champions Trophy

Ahead of the final match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 between India and Pakistan, celebrities from the Bollywood film industry were as excited as any other cricket fan to cheer for their ‘Men in Blue’.

However, soon after the shaky start by Indian cricket team, Bollywood forgot cricket and switched their loyalties to hockey, as they celebrated India win against Pakistan in Hockey World League semi-final. Meanwhile, Pakistan thrashed India by 180 runs in ICC Champions trophy, India reaches final of Hockey World League on the same day.

In a country where cricket is followed as a religion, there were somewhat mixed reactions that poured out on social networking sites. Where the Pakistanis were celebrating, Indians busted up televisions and wept, just in the name of love of the game.

Bollywood stars were quick to celebrate India victory as well as loss at the same time.
