Former England pacer Chris Tremlett shows off incredible transformation as he displays massive muscle gain after retirement.

Tall, muscular and quick, the paceman was a difficult customer for many a batsman to handle. It's what allowed him to enjoy such a successful international and domestic career.

Tremlett who is remembered for his splendid spell during Ashes 2010-11, hung up his boots two seasons ago after finishing his career with Surrey.

But perhaps what was most disappointing was that his body continually let him down and ultimately curtailed what could have been an incredibly fruitful international career.

And although the 35-year-old always possessed an inherently imposing physique, he has since taken matters into his own hands.

Tremlett has documented his staggering transformation since retiring from the game on Instagram. And the physical difference is abundantly clear.

Just over 18 months now since retiring and as most of you know I've changed my body shape slightly.. When playing cricket I had to stay lean and keep to a certain size, some will say I was still too big for cricket. I'm not a bodybuilder, I just enjoy the challenge and feeling of weight training and keeping fit. I believe you need a motivation to get you to the gym and for me, changing my body shape and getting stronger is my motivation. Training is obviously important as is your specific diet. To get the extra edge it's important you use the right supplements and I've been lucky enough to have the support of @bpi_sports_uk and all of their products are fantastic. They continue to help me develop and are crucial in the recovery period pre, during and post workouts. Current weight 124kgs. #transformationtuesday #bpiuk #teambpi #bpisports #bestteam #bpiathlete @justin_mr_jt

The former seamer has stacked on the muscle since retiring from cricket, and Tremlett posted on Instagram to tell everyone his story.

'Just over 18 months now since retiring and as most of you know I've changed my body shape slightly,' he said.

'I'm not a bodybuilder, I just enjoy the challenge and feeling of weight training and keeping kit.
