KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Monday having 52138.90 points with a negative change of 497.97 and volume of 63,344,180 shares.
High and Low were 52636.87 and 52036.34 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 203,079,780 shares with 372 total traded companies out of which 109 were up 251 were down and 12 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 42,154,150 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 28,564,100 shares.
The three top traded companies were Power Cement(R) with a volume of 6,002,000 and price per share of 15.36 (0.02), Oil & Gas Dev.with a volume 4,263,200 of price per share of 185.17 (1.40), Ist.Capital Sec with a volume 3,330,000 of price per share of 4.86 (0.19).
The top three advancers were Rafhan MaizeXD with price per share 7400.67 (84.34), Mari Petroleum with price per share of 1714.11 (26.68) and Agriautos Ind. share of 455.75 (21.70).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 10000.00 (199.67), Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share of 2426.57 (110.26) and Millat Tractors per share of 1506.42 (44.43).
