MOSCOW: Gazprom Neft, Russia's fastest growing oil company by volumes, will try to cut its oil production at less-effective fields should a deal to limit global oil output be extended by nine months, a company executive told a conference call on Wednesday.
"Greenfields won't be affected and plans for Novy Port and the Messoyakha project will be met. Most likely, the cut will affect mature fields... We aim to meet our (production) plan of 89.2 million tonnes of oil equivalent (in 2017)," he said.
