KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Tuesday having 52146.97 points with a positive change of 773.46 and volume of 112,044,280 shares.
High and Low were 52244.24 and 51373.51 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 323,923,240 shares with 415 total traded companies out of which 270 were up 133 were down and 12 were unchanged.
CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 50,119,390 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 34,700,900 shares.
The three top traded companies were Lotte Chemical with a volume of 40,677,000 and price per share of 12.64 (0.96), TRG Pak Ltd. with a volume 12,638,000 of price per share of 54.91 (1.02), Chakwal Spinning with a volume 11,496,000 of price per share of 7.21 (0.96).
The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2539.05 (120.90), Millat Tractors with price per share of 1526.86 (57.00) and Unilever Foods share of 6200.00 (50.00).
The top three decliners were Sapphire FiberXD with price per share of 1187.50 (62.50), Sanofi-AventisXD with price per share of 2092.33 (37.87) and Khyber Tobacco per share of 836.68 (13.27).
