PESHAWAR: Former President of Pakistan and Co-Chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari Wednesday that Party will carry out campaign before the general elections of 2018 and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address all public meetings.
Addressing a press conference here in the residence of PPP provincial president, Hamayun Khan on the conclusion of his five-day visit to the provincial metropolis, the Co-Chairman PPP announced holding divisional level conventions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to mobilize the party workers in the province.
Those present on the occasion were included President PPP Central Punjab, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Senator Farhatullah Babar, Rukhsana Bangash, Faisal Karim Kundi and Senator Robina Khalid.
He said that during last five days, he received traditional Pakhtun hospitality, love and affection. He said that it was his first visit to the province and pledged that in future he will once again come to visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He also lauded the sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in creation, economic prosperity of Pakistan and in the war against terrorism.
Regarding the performance of the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Asif Ali Zardari said that he had not found any sign of the new Pakistan in the province. He said that after coming into power PPP will once again announced maximum increase in the salaries of the government employees and workers.
