LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has regularized 234 employees of Maternal, New Born and Child Health (MNCH) Programme.
According to a handout issued here on Wednesday, Secretary Primary and Secondary Health, Ali Jan Khan issued notification accordingly.
It was a longstanding demand of the employees of MNCH District Management Unit to regularize them. Both Health Ministers Kh. Salman Rafiq and Kh. Imran Nazir have taken personal interest to resolve this issue and requested the Chief Minister for regularization of the employees. On their recommendations, Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif approved the summary of regularization of 234 employees of grade 1 to 17.
The Minister Specialized Healthcare Kh. Salman Rafiq and Primary Healthcare Kh. Imran Nazir have congratulated the employees of MNCH programme and hoped that they would discharge their duties with more zeal and dedication.
Representative of employees of MNCH, Mian Afzal Kamiyana has thanked the Chief Minister, Provincial Ministers Health and Secretaries of Health departments on regularizing 234 employees. He said that a wave of happiness has spread among the families of those employees who have been regularized. He said that Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has won the hearts of thousands of family members of 234 employees.
