HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks fell Wednesday, tracking losses across Asia on worries that fresh crisis in the White House could derail Donald Trump's economy-boosting tax-cut and spending agenda.
The Hang Seng shed 0.17 percent, or 42.31 points, to 25,293.63.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.27 percent, or 8.52 points, to 3,104.44 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.13 percent, or 2.41 points, to 1,867.68.
