Pakistan opening batsman Azhar Ali impressive batting form continues, as he moved up one slot to seventh position with 769 rating points in the latest MRF Tyres ICC Player Rankings for Test Batsmen.

The achievement comes after Azhar’s back to back centuries against the West Indies.

Azhar notched an impressive century in the final third Test against the West Indies, helping his side to achieve an historic feat, as Pakistan were able to clinch their first ever Test series win in West Indies.

In doing so, Pakistan has managed to stabilise its position at the fifth slot in the latest rankings, with 97 rating.

Meanwhile, Pakistan middle order batsman Babar Azam has also managed to improve his position, as he jumped eight slots to reach 98th rank.

West Indian all-rounder Roston Chase, who was impressive with his 101 not out during the third Test also moved up in the rankings, notching up 21 places to a career-best 28th rank after innings of 69 and 101 not out, which were not enough to prevent Pakistan winning the Test match.
