RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49720.14  with a negative change of 391.53 and volume of 70,203,710 shares.

High and Low were 50304.65 and 49717.12 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 230,378,150shares with 338 total traded companies out of which 128 were up, 201 were down and 9 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,308,520 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE COMPOSITE with a total traded volume of 30,582,160 shares.

The three top traded companies were Azgard Nine with a volume of 28,467,000 and price per share of 14.12 (1.00), Engro Polymer with a volume 21,300,000 of price per share of 29.45 (0.60), Summit Bank with a volume 20,566,500 of price per share of 4.65 (0.33).

The top three advancers were Indus Motor Co with price per share 1932.88 (92.04), Sanofi-AventisXD. with price per share of 2180.00 (79.86) and Sapphire Tex. share of 1380.72 (65.74).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share of 2498.00 (74.75), The Searle Co.XDXB with price per share of 667.90 (34.10) and Abbott Lab.XD per share of 960.51 (19.49).
