Opposition leader warms up atmosphere in assembly
KARACHI: The Air-Conditioned atmosphere of Sindh Assembly turned hot when the MQM-Pakistan MPA and Opposition leader in the assembly criticized the Sindh government over specially the poor condition of education and polluted water in the province.
Speaking on the floor of the house regarding the Sindh Revenue Board (Amendment) Bill -2017, he said that he has no objection over the collection of even Rs. 100 billion in the name of taxes but at least the provincial government should spend the same amount on improving the bad condition of the province.
He asked the treasury benches, with specific allusion to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, which is that Union Council (UC) where a model school you have built or a street where you have provided people with clean and safe drinking water in the province.
