pmln0000ISLAMABAD: Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) Tuesday lauded the announcement of development projects for Hyderabad by the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

They said the plan of establishing a university in Hyderabad and development package in different sectors by the prime minister was the best example of public service.

They said the PML-N was not in the government in Sindh but still it felt its responsibility to resolve problems of the common man in the province.

Talking to APP, State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab said the prime minister's allocated Rs 1 billion for the Hyderabad university and Rs 500 million for Hyderabad Corporation which were appreciable steps.

The premier also announced projects of electricity and gas for the rural areas of Hyderabad.

He said Nawaz Sharif conveyed the message that resources of the country belonged to every one and benefits of development projects should reach to every citizen.

Chairman National Assembly Standing Committee Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Malik Ibrar Ahmed said a new university and airport and other development projects in Hyderabad would change lives of people of the city.

He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was visiting different areas of the country to serve people.

Ibrar said the PML-N believed in serving the people by rising above regional, linguistic, political and parochial considerations.

He urged other political parties to follow the footsteps of the federal government led by PML-N and undertake projects for improving lives of the people.

The PML-N did not believe in mere slogans but was serving public and would clean sweep the next general elections on the basis of its performance, he added.
