Ever wondered about the most expensive burger in the world? Well then, it just has been sold in Dubai at auction for whooping $10,000.
The $10,000 burger was auctioned during the Pink Caravans Pink Bite breast cancer charity event to raise money for charity, where the winning bid was made by Asma Al Fahim, founder of Dubai lifestyle magazine Villa 88, as per The National.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development UAE, sold four of his signature burgers, one of which was sold for $10,000.
The humongous burger was prepared with aged cheddar and veal bacon in a saffron brioche burger bun with 7 spices and Harrisa burger sauce, served with a milkshake.
Following the innovative idea taken by Emirati cuisine, pink-themed dishes were collectively made by seven of emirates top chefs and Pink Caravan ambassadors.
Government officials and public figures attended the grand auction held at Galeries Lafayette, Le Gourmet in Dubai Mall.
