Pakistan Test skipper Misbah ul Haq has been the cornerstone of Pakistan for the past six, seven years. The captain, known for his defensive approach, has displayed his aggressive flair on quite a few occasions.
Hong Kong T20 Blitz was the place to be, where Misbah playing for Hong Kong Island United hit 6 sixes in as many balls against Hung Hom Jaguars.
With Misbahs United on 175/6 in 18.4 overs, the skipper of Pakistan decided to take matters into his very own hands, and what followed was a six hitting derby. Imran Arif was the first victim after he went for two sixes in the last two balls of the 19th over.
However, Ashley Caddy went on to become Misbah main bunny, after Mr Tuk Tuk hammered four back to back sixes in his 20th over and ended the inning with a four, for his 82 not out off just 37 deliveries. The United later went on to win the game by 33 runs.
Misbah ul Haq has been under constant pressure from all corners, as board and pundits call for the 42-year-old to retire from the game. However, the old war horse seems to be in a good knick at the ongoing Hong Kong Blitz, and seemed to have answered his critics that there is still much ammo left in the tank of Pakistans most successful Test captain.
