LAHORE: Central leader of PML-N Hamza Shehbaz MNA enquired after injured persons of Charing Cross blast at Mayo Hospital, here on Tuesday.
He went to every patient, consoled him and asked about his health. He also sought information from hospital administration about the patients and directed to provide best treatment facilities to them.
Talking to the media after enquiring the wellbeing of the injured persons, Hamza Shehbaz said that the agony of the entire nation was common and these moments were of difficulty and sorrow. It was very easy to politicize these circumstances but politics could not be done over the blood of martyrs, he added.
He said that terrorists had been defeated through Zarb-e-Azb and successful strategy against terrorism, and expressed hope that the entire nation would fight against terrorism unitedly and the country would win the war against terrorism.
Hamza said, "We are with our Army, Rangers and Police and equally share the grief of the affectees of this tragedy."
He expressed resolve that the culprits engaged in criminal activities against Pakistan would be taken to task and the terrorists would be brought out of their hideouts.
He paid homage to dutiful officers like Capt. (R) Mobeen and Zahid Gondal who laid down their lives during the performance of their duties.
Hamza Shehbaz said that at the time of explosion, he was only a few yards away and witnessed that tragic scene from a roof.
He said that despite the nation was in the state of war, people of Pakistan were fully encouraged to cope with such a situation.
