imageLAHORE: At least 14 dead including DIG Traffic DIG Traffic Lahore Capt (retd) Ahmad Mobin, along with SSP Zahid Gondal of Punjab Police, at a blast on Lahores Mall Road on Monday, setting vehicles to fire and injuring scores.

As per latest media reports, at least 14 people had died after an explosion rocked a protest organised by Pakistan's chemist and pharmaceuticals manufacturers.

Law enforcement and rescue agencies have reached the spot and have started the rescue operation. Whereas, the injured are being shifted to hospitals.

According to Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, the blast targeted the protestors as Punjab government earlier issued red alert on 7th February.

A DSNG van of Aaj TV was also completely damaged, the DSNG driver, cameraman and engineer were injured.
