Pakistani TV host and media celebrity Waqar Zaka was beaten up by a group of miscreants in Karachi, recently. Zaka, however, came out warning his assailant Junaid Haider that he would have the last laugh.
Now, the Mixed Martial Arts Pakistan, or more appropriately Pakistan MMA, has offered to arrange a fight, between the two foes and has called for a cage-fight to settle the feud once and for all.
"Who'd like to see Waqar Zaka vs Junaid Trimmer in a cage fight? We can make it happen!" stated Pak MMA on their Facebook page.
On Saturday, Zaka was beaten up by assailants on the streets of Karachi, an incident that came to fore through a video that went viral on social media earlier today.
Waqar Zaka confirmed the incident, as the TV anchor shared the incident with media representatives.
"I was in a cafe for dinner at 2am. I was alone and they were eight to nine boys and girls. They started making my videos, I objected and asked how would they react if I did the same," he said, quoted local media reports.
"This started the arguments and after they asked me to come outside. When I walked out of the cafe. There were 10 to 12 security guards," he added.
As per the video leaked on the social media, Waqar Zaka can be seen beaten badly near the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi in Clifton neighbourhood of the city.
"I had plans to go to Syria but now I will fight here so that the culture of such violence ends," he added.
The fight could turn pretty real after MMA gets involved, however, amid all the uncertainty, one thing is certain, in the pentagon the rules are religiously followed and fights are normally clean.
