imageAsad Shafiq, the hero of the Gabba Test for Pakistan, is now setting his eyes on the Boxing Day encounter in Melbourne, and well aware of Pakistans fortunes at the MCG.

Unlike the other Australian tracks, the historical MCG has been much more favorable to Pakistan, as it was the same venue where Pakistan won their only World Cup back in 1992. Whereas, Pakistan had won only four Test matches in Australia, two times at the MCG.

Yes, I have heard about this [record] and seen it too that this wicket suits Pakistan a bit more, said Asad Shafiq, quoted ESPNcricinfo.

However, that doesnt mean that winning at MCG would be easy for Pakistan, you have to work hard and play hard for every win, Asad said.

Other than focusing on winning, team Pakistan would need to cope with other pressures too including a jam packed crowd at the crickets biggest stadia.

We will feel it [pressure] a little because we probably haven't played in front of such a big crowd. And this ground has a really prestigious history and playing here is a big honour for me, for everyone but especially for those playing here for the first time there is also a lot of excitement.
