ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif Tuesday said there was no rift between the Ministry of Water and Power and the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on the Nandipur power project.
Talking to a private TV channel, the minister said difference with NEPRA on tariff was a routine matter.
He said only administrative control of five regulatory authorities had been given to the respective ministries while the regulatory power would remain with the regulators.
Khawaja Asif said the ministries had taken charge of the regulatory authorities.
