According to reports in certain local news outlet(s), local music industry veterans are planning to launch an app for local musicians to connect through their phones to get together and jam, essentially a tinder for musicians.

Amongst the many, film-maker and sound engineer, Jasir Abro has been collaborating with a company called 'Grocode' to give birth to what could be called a revolutionary app that changes the local music scene. Other names associated with the app aptly named 'Jambro' include Ali Kazmi, Rehan Baig and CEO of Grocode Rishadullah Shaikh.

If one thinks about it, the average budding artists are left to the confines of their rooms to hone their craft or at best have a few individuals to play with all the while trying to vainly form an ever-forming band lineup. A pre-launch of the app was hosted, where over seventy musicians jammed and is said to be a success.

?Jambro? is set to be released for the market in a few weeks, needless to say the app shall be a game changing in a market that so far had been a vacuum.

This project has already been widely endorsed by a lot of veterans of the music industry and upcoming artists alike, reportedly, Sounds of Kolachi, Rachel Viccaji and Omran Shafique to name a few.
