185 truckloads of relief goods for flood hit districts

FAISALABAD: The district administration dispatched 185 truckloads of relief goods for flood-hit areas of Jhang, Chiniot and Hafizabad districts.

Out of these,39 truckloads were sent to these areas by local philanthropists, industrialists and traders, said official sources here Friday.

At two collection centres in the city more than 120 employees of different departments pack relief items in three shifts on voluntary basis, the sources said.

Meanwhile, 670 packets (each packet 15 kg weight) were loaded in a helicopter from Faisalabad Airport for aerial disbursement in affected areas.
