GUJRANWALA: At least four persons including father and his three daughters were killed and another injured when roof of a house collapsed due to rain here on Monday.
According to rescue sources, roof of a dilapidated house located in Kashmir Colony No. 1 area of Gujranwala caved in as the area received heavy rain on Saturday night.
As a result of incident four people including a labourer Abdul Rehman, his three daughters Amina, Rabi and Muqadas were killed while Shumaila, the wife of house owner sustained wounds.
The rescue personnel retrieved the bodies and injured from the debris. The wounded woman was shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for treatment.
