PARIS: France sold an additional 1.607 billion euros of long-term bonds following an auction last Thursday, debt management agency Agence France Tresor said.
AFT said its sold 947 million euros of the 1.75 percent May 2023 OAT bond and 660 million euros of the 2.75 percent October 2027 bond.
The non-competitive bids meant that France raised a total of 9.597 billion euros from the two lines of its July 4 auction. It is customary for the Treasury to sell extra debt this way.
