PORT LOUIS: The weighted average yield on Mauritius' 364-day Treasury bill edged down to 3.04 percent at an over-subscribed auction on Friday from 3.05 percent at a previous sale on Dec. 21, the central bank said.
The Bank of Mauritius accepted bids for all the 500 million rupees ($16.31 million) worth of paper on offer. Bids totalled 1.1 billion rupees at rates ranging from 3.50 to 3.00 percent.
The bank rate posted was 2.88 percent.
