PESHAWAR: Federal minister for communication Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil Thursday said democracy is panacea of all social ills and Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) committed to strengthen democracy and address the problems of masses.
Talking to party workers here at his residence, he said that all the state institutions including the government, armed forces and judiciary are working in their ambit defined under the constitution.
He said PPP leaders and workers rendered sacrifices for the sake of democracy, and the party would not let the democratic process derailed.
The minister said that those who misled the people in past would soon be exposed in upcoming general elections, adding that PPP always served the poor people and would leave no stone unturned for the cause.
He said the whole nation is supporting PPP due to its people friendly policies and the world would witness it in upcoming general elections.
"PPP would win mandate of the people in upcoming general elections and the party would address the deprivation of poor people, put the country on the path of prosperity and establish peace in the country," he asserted.
