QUETTA: On the directives of Home Department, security has been put on high alert in the provincial capital on Thursday on the occasion of Chehlam of Shuhada-e-Karbala.
The law enforcement personnel including from Frontier Corps Balochistan, Police, Balochistan Constabulary and Levies Force have been deployed on all important entry and exit points of the city.
Heavy contingent of security personnel have been deployed and close circuit security cameras have been installed on the routs of Chehlam related processions.
Pillion riding and display of arms have been banned and law enforcement agencies vehicles have been patrolling on the main city arteries to avert any untoward incident.
