ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary would leave for Saudi Arabia to perform Umra.
According to an official spokesman of Supreme Court, during the absence of the Chief Justice, Justice Tasadaq Hussain Jilani would perform duties as the acting Chief Justice of Supreme Court.
He said that the oath taking ceremony of the acting Chief Justice would be held on 24 december and Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk will take oath from Justice Jilani.
Senior advocates would also attend the ceremony.
