sardar-latif-khosa-khanKHUSHAB: Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Ahmed Khosa said on Tuesday that Pakistan People's Party will win the forthcoming general elections with thumping majority.

Talking to mediamen, he assured the general elections will be held on its stipulated time.

He said that Pakistan People's Party has firm belief in democracy and it is first time in country's history that the government is going to complete its tenure.

Latif Khosa said that PPP has rendered unprecedent sacrifices for democracy.

He said the government's five years tenure is before the public.

To a question, he stated the government is providing relief to the masses through Benazir Income Support programme (BISP).

Some seven million deserving people are benefiting from BISP, he added.

Commenting on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif remarks about President Asif Ali Zardari, he termed Shahbaz utterances against article 18 of the Constitution.

Replying to a question, he said that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address at the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto death anniversary on December 27.
