mian-iftikhar-hussain 400PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Mian Iftikhar Hussain said Friday the present government has succeeded in bringing peace and fighting terrorism and militancy in the region to great extent but durable peace would be the big challenge for the next government.

Therefore, the people should vote for those in the up-coming elections who have the love for land and ability to tackle the situation.

This, he said, while addressing a mammoth gathering in his constituency PK-12 at Taru Jabba, Nowshera.

Prominent personalities of Taru Jabba including Malik Rafiullah, Malik Liaqat Ali, Malik Amanat Khan, Malik Samiullah, Malik Tehsinullah and Malik Ubaidullah along with their families and companions formally joined ANP on this occasion and expressed confidence on the leadership and policies of the party.

Mian Iftikhar maintained that the ANP strongly believed on democracy and consider it a best system for brighter future of Pakistan. He added they were ready for alliance with any political party for the cause of the country as well as democracy.

Therefore, the workers should prepare themselves for the up-coming polls and consider these political activities as the starting point of elections preparations, he added.

The minister appealed the people, if they want to safe-guard their mosques, spiritual spaces, honour of their women and elders, bazaars, funeral prayers and future of the coming generation, then they vote for people lovers.

He said ANP had sacrificed 750 workers including two parliamentarians and his only son for this sacred cause. He reaffirmed that they would fight the anti-state elements till the last drop of their blood.
