NEW DELHI: India's growth slowed to 5.3 percent in the quarter to September, hit by weaker manufacturing and an uncertain global economy, official data released on Friday showed.
The performance of the economy, which was in line with estimates, was slower than the 5.5-percent growth in the second quarter and was equal to the three-year low hit in the January-to-March period, the preliminary data showed.
