KARACHI: Fire broke out in a multi-storied building in downtown Karachi on Wednesday, Central Fire Brigade and Edhi Ambulance Service officials said.
The official of the Central Fire said that five fire engines and two snorkels have been dispatched to the spot.
Some people are also believed to have been trapped in the building which mainly houses offices, it was further stated.
One person was said to have jumped from the building to try and save his life.
