FAISALABAD: The district police in a campaign against anti-social elements arrested 46 criminals, including proclaimed offenders, court absconders, drug peddlers here during last 24 hours.
These criminals were arrested from the district on the directions of CPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana, stated a press release issued here Thursday.
The police teams arrested 10 drug pushers and seized more than 115 grams charas, 1520 gms heroin and 35 bottles of liquor from their possession.
Police teams also caught 13 outlaws and recovered unlicensed weapons from their possession including 1 Kalashnikov,9 pistols (30 bore), 2 revolvers,1 carbine and 26 bullets/cartridges.
During the crackdown 17 proclaimed offenders and 6 court absconders were arrested.
