ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to introduce the local body (government) system in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
According to a private news channel, the ordinance is expected to be announced to this effect on the Independence Day next month.
During the democratic period Local Bodies' election could never be held in any province of Pakistan and even any province has not been able to introduce this new system. But the Federal Government has decided to introduce Local Body System in FATA.
Sources sais the government is willing to announce the ordinance on the Independence Day next month.
