JHANG: Three members of a family were killed and eight others sustained injuries in a van-car collision near here in the wee hours of Thursday.
According to Rescue-1122 sources, the accident took place at Jhang-Faisalabad road where a mini van collided with a car (LED-4277) while overtaking a trailer near Chak No 216.
As a result, Shahzad, his wife Nasim Bibi and his daughter Shenza died on the spot while eight others, some of them were identified as Burhan, Raza, Nusrat, Muhammad Hussain and Neelam, were injured seriously.
The injured were rushed to DHQ hospital where four of them were stated to be in critical condition.
