election-commission-pakistanISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set up a control room to collect the results of the by-polls in ten national and provincial assembly constituencies.

The polling for by-elections in NA-9 Mardan-I, NA-140 Kasure- III, NA-148 Multan-I, NA-149 Multan-II, NA-168 Vehari-II, NA-195 R.Y. Khan-IV, PP-18 Attock-IV, PP-44 Mianwali-II, PS-53 Tando Muhammad Khan-cum-Hyderabad and PS-57 Badin-I are being held on February 25.

The control room has been established at the Election Commission Secretariat for receiving polling day complaints and preliminary results of by-elections.

Designated officers of the ECP will be available at the control room on polling day around the clock (from 0800 till receipt of preliminary result of by-elections). Moreover, media (both print and electronic) and all the other people interested will also be facilitated by the control room for any query and complaint on the polling day.

The contact numbers at the control toom will be: Telephone 051-9206739 and Fax No. 9205300 where Shabbir Ahmed, DD (Cord), M Shahzad Akbar AD (Cord) and Fazal-ur-Rehman Qureshi, AD (Elec-I) will perform duties from 0800 hours to 1700 hours.

From 1700 hours till receipt of preliminary result, the numbers will be: Telephone 051-9207383, Fax No. 9205300 and Cell No. 0308-7448800).

During these hours, Masood Ahmed Malik, D.S (Elec), Ali Abdullah Khalid, D.D (Elec-I) and Samiullah Khan, D.D (Election-II) will perform duties at the control room.
