KARACHI: Karachi Stocks Exchange (KSE) ended almost flat as investors booked profits at higher levels, but continued to accumulate fertiliser stocks.

The KSE benchmark 100-share index closed 0.05 percent, or 5.20 points, higher at 11,302.22 on turnover of only 54.11 million shares.

"The local bourse took a breather today after increasing more than 100 points in last three trading sessions but fertiliser stocks remained in the limelight," said Samar Iqbal, dealer at Topline Securities Ltd.

In the money market, overnight rates ended at the top level of 13.40 percent, compared with Wednesday's close of between 12.25 percent and 12.75 percent, amid tight liquidity in the interbank market.
