 ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum, Dr.Asim said on Thursday that the solution to the shortage of natural gas lies in better planning, efficient management of resources and coordination among all the stakeholders.

He made these remarks while talking to the officials of All Pakistan CNG Association in a meeting held here. He also discussed in detail the problems faced by the CNG sector in the country.

At the occasion, the Advisor said that he has joined the ministry with a crystal clear vision to ensure availability and security of sustainable supply of oil and gas for economic development and strategic requirements of the country and to coordinate development of natural resources of energy and minerals.

He reiterated his resolve that he will leave no stone unturned to bring the country out of this energy crisis.

Dr. Asim assured the members of the CNG Association that he will make certain that the genuine reservations of the CNG sector are addressed at the earliest.

He said that on his instructions the authorities are taking stern actions against the defaulters and recovering the money they owe to the gas companies.
