LAGOS: Nigeria's Unity Bank said on Monday it had swung to a pre-tax profit of 13.31 billion naira ($86 million) last year compared to a loss of 20.97 billion in 2009.
The bank, one of nine lenders judged to have insufficient capital by the central bank in 2009, said loans and advances increased 30 percent to 113.97 billion naira during the period.
